Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is the base of our Christian lives. It is through Baptism that we enter into a permanent communion with God and gain access to the other sacraments. Baptism frees us from original sin and makes us be reborn as sons and daughters of God. We become members of the body of Christ and are incorporated into the Church.

If you are seeking to baptize your child, we are happy to help you through the process. As with all sacraments, the sacrament of Baptism requires preparation to ensure those receiving the sacrament understand the importance behind it. Parents who seek to have the sacrament of Baptism be imparted on their child that is under the age of 7 are the ones who will receive this preparation along with the godparents of the child.
