Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the sacrament that completes the Sacrament of Baptism and where we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is in the Sacrament of Confirmation that we are marked with the seal of the Holy Spirit and are bound completely into Christ and into the Church. When we receive this sacrament, we become witnesses of God, tasked with the mission of giving testimony of God through our lives.

Those seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation must have received the sacrament of Baptism and First Communion and must be enrolled to receive the classes at our parish. The preparation consists of two consecutive years of sacramental preparation. Students must be in the 9th grade in order to begin their preparation to receive the sacrament.
