First Communion

Although all of the sacraments are important, the Sacrament of the Eucharist is the center of our faith. In this sacrament, bread and wine are transformed into the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He left for us on the night of the Last Supper. When we receive the Eucharist, we remember the sacrifice that Jesus Christ endured for us on the cross and we become one with the Lord.

In order to receive the First Communion and First Reconciliation, those seeking the sacrament must be baptized Catholic and must be enrolled to receive the classes at our parish. The preparation consists of two consecutive years of sacramental preparation. Children can begin their preparation when they are in the First Grade.
