Marriage

The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant between husband and wife into which they invite God as a constitutive person. A wedding is a celebration which establishes this three-way bond. According to the policies of the Diocese of Raleigh, couples seeking the sacrament must contact the pastor six months before the proposed wedding date in order that adequate time may be scheduled to complete the marriage preparation program.

 

Those seeking to be married at Saint Charles Borromeo are encouraged to contact either the Pastor or Director of Religious Education at least nine months in advance to secure their preferred date and to begin their preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage.
